Nike never falls short when it comes to surprises and this is one of them! Teased for quite some time, Nike is revealing their brand new Air Force 1 Logo Pack and it's way closer than you think. This summer, you can get your hands on these brand new babies online and in store!

Set to release on Thursday, August 17, 2017, the new Air Force 1 Logo Pack is a brand new take on the classic AFs. The new look consists of three colorways: red and white, black and white, and white and black. Being called the Logo Pack, the upper's design features the signature Nike logo swoosh all over the top in a sort of monogram fashion along with a huge swoosh on the side as seen in most Nike footwear.

The Nike Air Force 1 Logo Pack will be available in selected Nike Sportswear Retailers as well as in their online store. You can check out more of Nike's other products below.

A Brief History of the Air Force 1

One, if not the most iconic shoe series from Nike, the Air Force 1 is the first basketball shoe to use the Nike Air Technology. Its name is referenced from the Air Force One which is the official plane of the President of the United States. Perhaps the most popular AF 1s ever sold are the "white on white" and the "black on black" referring to its colorway. What makes this shoe different from other Nike shoe series is a tiny medallion secured at the bottom of the laces bearing the name "AF-1" along with the year "82" inscribed beside it.

Aside from its iconic looks, the Air Force 1 is also a performance-grade shoe for either street or professional play. In fact, Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace wore this shoe on court.

In Other News

Besides the new Air Force 1s release on Thursday, Nike also announced their latest sneaker pack with former NBA player Kobe Bryant called the "Mamba Mentality" pack. This new Kobe shoe will be in Lakers colorway of purple and yellow and will debut next weekend.

Other Nike shoes debuting this week are Nike Hyperadapt 1.0, Nike Air More Uptempo Tricolor, and Nike Airmax2 Uptempo.
