The apparent trend of this season’s eye makeup seems to be various shades of reds, oranges, greens, and browns, along with glitter shades for highlight and cut-crease. Morphe x Jaclyn Hill, June 21st

Even though this palette was released last month, people flocked to buy this brainchild of Jaclyn Hill and Morphe’s 2-year love affair. Sold out within minutes, what Morphe labeled as a not your average palette, it contains 35 brand new matte, shimmer, satin, foil, and glitter shadows. It has dark greens to bright turquoise, deep copper to fiery maroon, and striking golden to subtle pearl.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture, July 25th

As a gift to their loyal followers on social media, Anastasia Beverly Hills released the Subculture palette one whole year after they came out with their first palette, Modern Renaissance. It was named after what they used to call the brand’s followers back in the day when the brand just had its start. The colors will remind you of a mossy green forest, comprising of camouflage green, mustard yellows, and a couple of jewel-toned pinks, purples, and blues.

MAC Personality Palette in “Mischief Minx”, August 3rd

A MAC employee leaked the upcoming “Basic Bitch” palette back in February. It was met with an uproar and when MAC finally announced the full collection on that would be released next month, the Basic Bitch came with her friends and the Internet was #shook once again. The Mac Mischief Minx palette, along with Basic Bitch, Power Hungry, Pussy Princess, Rockin’ Rebel, and Fashion Fanatic, is one of the palettes from the Girls Personality collection. Mischief Minx has warmer colors than the others, including maroon, orange, deep brown, and three glitter shades.

ColourPop x Karrueche Fem Rosa “She”, July 13th

The “She” palette from ColourPop and Karrueche Tran’s collaboration contains 12 gorgeous shades, ranging from pearly, glittery ivory shades to rose gold and matte burgundy. The palette and the entire Fem Rosa collection was inspired by the different shades of roses and other floras. Not only does the Fem Rosa set come with an eyeshadow palette, it also has a blush palette and three different lip colors (1 with a glossy finish and 2 in satin).
