This Under Armour Shoe Series is Made From Actual Michelin Tires

Despite being in the middle of their worst year ever, Under Armour is still leaving us shookt with their new shoe collection just in time for winter. As a collaboration with tire brand Michelin, Under Armour released a selection of footwear ranging from winter boots, hiking, and running shoes, and sandals with a twist.

What makes this series so special is the durable outsole made, for the first time, with Michelin tires; exactly like the ones you use on your car. Officially called the "Fat Tire" series, the durable outsole on each shoe can withstand intense pressure and the elements it is subjected. As with any tire, it can also tolerate speeds of up to 120 mph.

As mentioned this series also has several running shoes including the UA Fat Tire 2, and the UA Fat Tire Low which all feature the signature rubber outsole. Even with the tough exterior, the Under Armour Fat Tire is comfortable with breathable abrasion panels at the top. It provides a snug fit with responsive cushioning that adapts to the way you run.

If you're thinking of hiking Kinabalu or the Himalayas before the year ends, Under Armour has the UA Fat Tire Govie SE boot and the UA Fat Tire Govie. These high-top hiking boots are a must if you know you're going to be hiking serious terrain and battling the elements.

The Govie SE model is completely waterproof thanks to its GTX lining and a signature lacing technique called "Boa" which is literally stainless steel laces strapped to the boot. Ice, snow, dirt, mud, and rocks will be no match for this bad boy.

This Under Armour series is great for explorers and backpackers because of its tough and durable build. It may be too bulky for some but it certainly does the job of keeping your feet happy throughout your adventures.
