He was born as Kal-El on the planet Krypton and was rocketed to planet Earth as an infant, moments before the destruction of his home planet. Adopted by a farm couple, the child was raised as under the name of Clark Kent, an identity that he uses to hide his true identity in his later years. Even during his early years, Clark displayed various superhuman abilities which he eventually masters and uses for the benefit of humanity through the “Superman” moniker.

Superman has a variety of superhuman abilities at his disposal which he uses to defeat his enemies and protect humans with. These powers include superhuman speed, superhuman strength, invulnerability, superior vision (X-ray microscopic, telescopic, and infrared), flight, and many more.
