Ayaka Nishi Cell Filled Ring
RM 769.30
Popmap
Available in the following colors; Silver, and Gold. Appx. 0.8" band width. Adjustable from size 5.5 to 9. More sizes are also available upon request. Material: Gold : 18K Gold Plated Bronze Silver : .925 Sterling Silver Style #: CELR3-1, CELR3-2 Size: 5.5 ~ 9 Adjustable ----- About the designer: AYAKA NISHI Inspired by the simple beauty found in the shapes and forms of the natural world, Ayaka Nishi endeavors to create jewelry of unparalleled beauty and exquisite craftsmanship. A unique feature of her works is that they exist simultaneously on two levels: they serve as compliments to the wearer’s wardrobe while at the same time they stand alone as singular works of art. Having grown up on the Japanese archipelago, Ms. Nishi’s work is rooted in the rich flora and fauna with which she interacted in her youth. Born and raised in Kagoshima, a medium-size metropolis in a mostly rural prefecture on Kyushuu island, she was influenced not only by the sophistication of city life but also by the bucolic countryside and pristine wilderness beyond. Thus, as a child she might spend one day admiring the fashionable denizens that paraded downtown, and another catching insects, discovering fossils, and gazing at the stars. While her one-of-a-kind style is very much a product of the environments she has inhabited, she has also received extensive formal training in the design and manufacture of jewelry. While a university student studying Art History and Esthetics in Tokyo, she also studied at the Japanese Jewelry Craft Institute. After graduating from college, she honed her artistic sensibilities by working for several years as a graphic designer. She moved to New York City in 2006 to receive advanced training in her field at the world-renowned Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.). After graduating F.I.T, she inturned at 2008 CFDA aword winer Philip Crangi, and later secured a position at CFDA 2009 winner, Subversive Jewelry. She is currently focusing on her own line and establishing partnerships with some of the city's finest shops so that she can introduce her works to a larger audience. Ms. Nishi’s work has been exhibited at galleries both in America and Japan. She has received effusive praise and recognition for her creations from artists and fashionistas alike.

Michael Raymond 14K Rose Gold Plated Brass Stag Beetle Ring
RM 554.40
Popmap
I had this beetle sitting on my bench for a while. it was just staring at me. I decided it would look good on my finger. I made a mold of it. I took the wax beetle and attached it to a wax ring. I then casted it it in brass and plated it in 14k rose gold. This ring is available in any size. Just specify in the notes when you check out. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. He grew up shadowing his father Raymond Pereira on the bench, learning the intricate art and craftsmanship of fine jewelry production. from the day he could grip a pair of pliers, michael was working alongside his father, casting links, carving molds and turning precious metals into wearable works of art. Eventually, the music scene in miami captured Michael’s artistic attentions, and he left the bench behind for the bandstand, studying music at berklee college of music in boston. he created a fulfilling career as a musician and sound engineer on the west coast, but he never stopped making things with his hands. he often made jewelry as gifts for friends in his spare time and would revisit the bench whenever life afforded him quality time with his father. In 2005, Raymond passed way, leaving his entire studio – bench, tools and molds – to Michael. reconnecting with his father’s tools brought Michael solace and wonderful memories of creative collaborations with his father. Michael shipped all of the equipment to New York City and set up his own studio to revive his father’s legacy and develop his own distinctive voice as a jeweler. In 2011, Michael Raymond was born, a unique, provocative and enchanting line of limited edition fine jewelry that challenges our perceptions of function, form, beauty and adornment. the collections pay tribute to Michael’s father raymond and his partner donald beeby, using many of their unique molds and reinventing them in contemporary designs. Each piece is playful, yet sleek and simple, combining disparate elements, exploring the nature of man vs animal, or repurposing unusual found objects. “I get a kick out of using and combining different elements which normally would not go together,” says pereira. “I love to re-invent interesting objects and give them new functions or a surprising new sense of style. It’s fun to let my imagination create clever new uses for intriguing and beautiful things.” Every piece is handmade in new york by Michael Raymond himself and available on a limited edition basis. Animal parts find new expressions in bangles and pendants; missiles and bullets become earrings and charms; lollipops, porsches and barbed wire become rings. Material: Gold : 18K Gold Plated Bronze, Diamond (3mm x 1pc) Silver : .925 Sterling Silver, Diamond (3mm x 1pc) Oxidaized Silver : Oxidized .925 Sterling Silver, Diamond (3mm x 1pc) Style #: URCR1-1, URCR1-2, URCR1-3 Size: 6,7,8 ( Other sizes are available upon request) ----- About the designer: AYAKA NISHI Inspired by the simple beauty found in the shapes and forms of the natural world, Ayaka Nishi endeavors to create jewelry of unparalleled beauty and exquisite craftsmanship.

Michael Raymond Classic C3PO 2 Finger Ring
RM 1070.10
Popmap
This 2 finger ring was made from the c3po i had as a kid, I got in the 80's. a mold was made of the entire figure. the arms were cut off and drilled to move up and down. The body was then carved, bent and attached to a my 2 finger design and cast in solid brass. The arms move independently. See how I made this guy in the blog section of my site. Discover a world of enchantment and a refreshing sense of style.

Michael Raymond The Skater 2 Finger Ring
RM 769.30
Popmap
This was a custom 2 finger ring I made for my buddy Dan. I made a mold of a skate figure. Using the wax of said skate figure, I attached it to my wax 2 finger ring design and added his initials. The wax was cast in Nickle brass and plated in Black Gold. I also put his initials D.C. on the bottom of the skateboard. I can put whatever initials you'd like in the same place and the 2 rings can be made to your exact sizes. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. I took a small band aid and made a mold from it. I added a little message box on the inside. I like the thought of carrying around a little written note from yourself or a loved one. I'd like to think that these were the wisdom teeth pulled when I was 18. I asked the Dentist to save them for me and as drugged as I was I do remember bringing them home… Anyways, I found these carefully sealed in a box of hundreds of teeth left to me by my father. The teeth we molded. I connected 2 wax teeth end to end by their roots and cast the wax in solid Sterling Silver or Brass. The one pictured has Two Cubic Zirconiums. Ring pictured is a Size 7.5. It's design makes it adjustable. It can be adjusted from a size 5-8.5. Michael Raymond Literally "My handlebar Moustache" 2 Finger Ring
RM 640.30

Here it is. For those of you who over my 10 year moustache period have said, I wish I could grow a moustche like that. It's no longer necessary. Just buy mine and wear it on your hand. I styled my moustache as I normally would before walking out the door. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a quarter. Heads the moustache stays, Tails the moustache goes. The moustache lost. I shaved behind it. I knew I was going to do with it. I cast the stache using the last wax casting technique and made molds of each side. I then fashioned a 2 finger ring out of the waxes. See my blog section for the step by step pictures of how it went down. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. This was a Swizzle Stick I got in my drink at a bar here in NYC called "Cowgirl". Fantastic Ribs… I expect a check from them any day for the endorsement. The Swizzle Stick reminded me of that "Tribal" Arm Band Tattoo everyone was getting in the 90's. If you were real tough you got it all the way around not just where people can see it and it doesn't hurt as much. Please google Pamela Anderson Arm Tattoo. I cast the Swizzle Stick using the "Lost Wax" technique. Cast in solid Silver i bent the Stick into a ring and joined the two ends by soldering. Ring started from a Quartz Crystal Cluster i aquired in China Town here in NYC. A two finger ring was then pain stakingly carved out of wax to mold perfectly to this specific crystal cluster. The wax ring was then cast in solid Sterling Silver. there is only one of these rings as no two crystals in the world are exacly the same. If you have a Crystal Cluster you'd like to make into a 2 or 3 finger ring, I'd be more than happy to help make that a reality. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. Material: Gold : 18K Gold Plated Bronze Silver : Oxidized .925 Sterling Silver Style #: ANMR2-1, ANMR2-2, ANMR2-3 Size: 6, 7, 8 ( Other sizes are available upon request ) ----- About the designer: AYAKA NISHI Inspired by the simple beauty found in the shapes and forms of the natural world, Ayaka Nishi endeavors to create jewelry of unparalleled beauty and exquisite craftsmanship. Animal parts find new expressions in bangles and pendants; missiles and bullets become earrings and charms; lollipops, porsches and barbed wire become rings. Discover a world of enchantment and a refreshing sense of style.

Michael Raymond Two Finger Scorpion Ring
RM 2144.40
Popmap
When my pet scorpion went to that big rain forest in the sky. I dried her out, posed her as if she were going to strike and I made a mold of her. From this mold I made this ring. It can either be cast in Recycled Bronze or cast in White Brass and Black rhodium plated.
