Fuji TV BRAVE HEARTS Umizaru Premium Edition (Blu-ray)(Japan Version) at 391.90 MYR from YesAsia
Fuji TV BRAVE HEARTS Umizaru Premium Edition (Blu-ray)(Japan Version)
RM 391.90
In the post-credit scene of the first Umizaru film, the filmmakers foreshadowed that rescue diver Senzaki and his team of Sea Monkeys will be on a perilous rescue mission involving a jet plane crashing into Tokyo Bay. That scenario becomes the set up for Brave Hearts Umizaru, the fourth film of the blockbuster film series! Star Ito Hideaki once again dons the wet suit as heroic rescuer Senzaki, returning along with Kato Ai as his long-suffering wife Kanna. However, the focus is being shifted to Sato Ryota's longtime sidekick Yoshioka, whose romance with flight attendant Mika (Naka Riisa) forms the emotional core of the film this time around. As they have done throughout the series, director Hasumi Eichiro and screenwriter Fukuda Yasushi have created another gripping, emotional blockbuster that became one of the top-grossing Japanese films in 2012.

Two years have passed since the oil platform accident in The Last Message. Heroic rescue diver Senzaki Daisuke (Ito Hideaki) and longtime teammate Yoshioka (Sato Ryuta) have since transferred to the front line as members of a special rescue unit. While Senzaki and his wife Kanna (Kato Ai) are about to welcome a second child into their happy family, Yoshioka has also found love with flight attendant Mika (Naka Riisa). One day, Mika's Tokyo-bound flight catches mechanical trouble, putting over 300 souls in danger as the pilots attempt an emergency landing on water. Despite the plane landing safely, Senzaki, Yoshioka and their fellow sea monkeys only have 20 minutes to get everyone out before it sinks into water.

Premium Edition includes audio commentary, making of, deleted scenes, stage events collection, outtakes, cast interviews and "Umizaru Graffiti Ultimate", a collection of the best moments from the series. It also comes with a replica of the film's shooting script.

Fuji TV The Suspect Muroi Shinji Premium Edition (Limited Edition) (Japan Version - English Subtitles) at 326.20 MYR from YesAsia
Fuji TV The Suspect Muroi Shinji Premium Edition (Limited Edition) (Japan Version - English Subtitles)
RM 326.20
First there was the popular 1997 Japanese television drama Odoru Daisosasen. Then came three television specials, and in 1998, the series came to the big screen in the form of the box office smash Bayside Shakedown. After that, there was the popular 2003 sequel Bayside Shakedown 2 and even a 2005 spin-off film, Negotiator Mashita Masayoshi. Now the popular cop franchise adds another winning installment to its ranks with The Suspect Muroi Shinji! Just like the earlier films in the series, The Suspect takes place in modern day Japan and revolves around the country's intricate, often serpentine police bureaucracy. However, this time the hero is Muroi Shinji (Yanagiba Toshiro), a stoic MPD chief investigator, who's definitely all business when it comes to dealing with matters of law.

In a cruel twist of fate, however, Muroi finds himself being arrested on conspiracy charges related to the use of excessive force against a murder suspect who ended up dead. Muroi discovers that he is a pawn in a shadowy power struggle originating from within the police department. He's also fully aware that he's got to watch his back against the money-grubbing lawyers representing the dead suspect and a no-nonsense prosecutor (Sano Shiro) looking to take the chief investigator down, no matter the cost! With only an inexperienced young lawyer (Tanaka Rena), his staunch ally Detective Kudo (Aikawa Sho), and plenty of average joe beat cops on his side, can Muroi clear his name? Find out in writer/director Kimizuka Ryoichi's winning new addition to the mega popular Bayside Shakedown saga!

This Premium Edition includes the main feature, two bonus discs, and a copy of the shooting script.

To achieve authenticity, director Takeuchi Hideki (Nodame Cantabile: The Final Score) took the entire cast and crew to Rome's Cinecitt Studios, which has also hosted productions of films like La Dolce Vita, Cleopatra, and Gangs of New York. The quirky mix of irreverent humor and grand historical epic made Thermae Romae a massive box office hit in Japan, becoming one of the top grossing live-action Japanese films of 2012.

Upon returning, Lucius decides to apply those brilliant methods into his new bath. Every time he returns to Japan, he is amazed by the ideas modern Japanese have for hygiene. The more ideas he copies for his own bath, the bigger star Lucius becomes. However, with fame also comes danger, as Lucius is soon caught between a power struggle involving Emperor Hadrian and two of his most trusted men.

Japan's most famous public prosecutor is back!

Popular Japanese TV and film franchise Hero returns to cinemas in 2015 with a new box office-topping mystery. First aired in 2001, Hero follows unorthodox public prosecutor Kuryu Kohei (Kimura Takuya). Known for eschewing the typical suit and tie in favor of jeans and an orange down jacket and impulsively purchasing infomercial gadgets, Kuryu's behavior often flummoxes his colleagues at a public prosecutor's office in Tokyo. However, his slacker appearance and attitude belie a brilliant investigative mind and compassionate heart, which help him crack one impossible case after another.

Directed by Suzuki Masayuki and scripted by Fukuda Yasushi, both regulars of the series, the 2015 Hero feature film continues on from the 2014 television series. Besides Kimura Takuya, Kitagawa Keiko returns as his assistant, as do fellow prosecutors Sugimoto Tetta, Hamada Gaku and Yoshida Yo. Matsu Takako, who did not appear in the 2014 season, makes her return to the series after an eight-year absence. This time, Kuryu and his colleagues try to solve a case that is linked to a foreign embassy. However, their investigation is hampered by extraterritoriality.

Adapted from a Yoshida Shuichi novel, 24/7 Dori no Christmas (a.k.a. Christmas on July 24th Avenue) is everything you can expect from a Christmas romance - crowd-pleasing, heartwarming, full of familiar faces and holiday jingles. Nakatani Miki, who received the Japan Academy Awards Best Actress trophy in 2007 for Memories of Matsuko, takes her whimsical acting to a lighter film opposite Osawa Takao (Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World). The leads are supported by an all-star line-up of actors including Sato Ryuta (Limit of Love Umizaru), YOU (Nobody Knows), Abe Tsuyoshi (Rough), and Ueno Juri (Summertime Machine Blues). Fluffy but enjoyable, 24/7 Dori No Christmas makes an ideal romantic pick for Christmas or any other time of the year.

Hopeless romantic Sayuri (Nakatani Miki) likes to imagines herself as a shojo heroine about to meet her Prince Charming. He'll sweep her off her feet and bring her to the most perfect place - July 24th Avenue in Lisbon, Portuqal. In reality, the clumsy, homely Sayuri is a typical office worker residing in seaside Nagasaki, far from Lisbon and even farther from romance. As Christmas nears, she can't help feeling a bit lonely as everyone else pairs up. When she runs into her high school crush Satoshi (Osawa Takao), who has just returned from Tokyo, Sayuri decides that this time, she can't let love pass her by. Can she create her own miracle on 24th Avenue?

With original TV series director Takeuchi Hideki carrying the same zany comedic style to the big screen, the film was the top-grossing domestic film in Japan for five weeks in a row. Shot on location in Europe, The Final Score brings back leads Tamaki Hiroshi and Ueno Juri as the eccentric musical couple Chiaki and Nodame - and they've encountered their biggest challenge yet.

A continuation from the 2008 drama special, Part 1 opens with stern conductor Chiaki (Tamaki Hiroshi) being assigned to revive a failing Parisian orchestra before it's forced to shut down. Meanwhile, cheerful piano wunderkind Nodame (Ueno Juri) continues to struggle to balance her devotion to Chiaki and her studies at the music academy. With original cast members Eita, Koide Keisuke, Mizukawa Asami, Wentz Eiji, Becky, Yamada Yu, and Naoto Takenaka along for the popular series' finale, Nodame Cantabile - The Final Score promises to be the funniest, craziest chapter yet.

Known for his witty scripts, star-studded casts and elaborate setpieces, Mitani Koki heads to space in his latest comedy Galaxy Turnpike. Drawing on his theater roots, the writer-director often concentrates his offbeat story and eccentric characters in a single setting, be it the hotel of Suite Dreams, the courtroom of Once in a Blue Moon or the castle of The Kiyosu Conference. For Galaxy Turnpike, he sets the action entirely in outer space at a burger joint along the space highway. SMAP's Katori Shingo (Bayside Shakedown: The Final) and Ayase Haruka (Our Little Sister) lead the ensemble cast of extraterrestrial characters.

In the year 2265, humanity has spread throughout the solar system, and situated next to Jupiter is a space colony called "Uzushio," which is home to a portion of a space highway that links to Earth. Once a buzzing area with numerous eateries, Uzushio's galaxy turnpike has seen business dwindle in recent years. Here in this dusty corner of the universe begins the story of Noa (Katori Shingo) and Noe (Ayase Haruka), the married proprietors of the fast-food restaurant Sandsand Burger.

This edition comes with two bonus discs of special features, a photobook, a Sandsand Burger emblem and a sticker sheet.

The quirky mix of irreverent humor and grand historical epic made Thermae Romae a massive box office hit in Japan, becoming one of the top grossing live-action Japanese films of 2012.

An architect in the Roman Empire, Lucius (Abe Hiroshi) is undergoing a creative crisis. After complaining about the appalling state of Roman baths, Lucius is sucked into a tunnel that takes him to present-day Japan. Emerging in a local Japanese public bath, Lucius is astonished by the achievements of those he calls the "flat-faced people".

    RM 298.30
In the original Ninkyo Helper television drama, a brutal yakuza thug finds his humanity after working in an elderly care facility under his new boss's orders. The 11-episode drama and the special one-off episode ended with hero Hikoichi looking to leave the crime world behind. Almost two years later, Hikoichi's story continues with Beautiful World, the feature length continuation of the drama. Like the series, the film continues to blend gritty gangster violence with a stinging critique of problems in Japanese society, particularly on its failure to fit the needs of an aging society. With the exception of SMAP's Kusanagi Tsuyoshi returning as Hikoichi and a cameo by original cast member Kuroki Meisa, Beautiful World brings together a new cast that includes Yasuda Narumi (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time), Kaho and Kagawa Teruyuki (Rurouni Kenshin).

After the events of Ninkyo Helper, Hikoichi (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) has moved on from yakuza life and is trying to start a new life as a clerk in a convenience store. His sympathy for the elderly gets him in trouble when he lets an old man rob the store, causing him to serve time in prison. While there, the old man repays Hikoichi's kindness by telling him to see the Asahina Group if he ever gets into trouble. This new association brings Hikoichi back to the crime life, as he joins the Asahina Group and finds himself working in an elderly care home once again. The rundown home is filled with debt-ridden seniors who use their monthly social welfare money to repay their debts to the gang. However, local politician Teruo (Kagawa Teruyuki) is aiming to wipe out the criminal influence in the elderly care industry.

This edition includes making of, stage event collection, cast comments from the commencement of shooting and trailers. It also comes with a set of three postcards.

Now the popular cop franchise adds another winning installment to its ranks with The Suspect Muroi Shinji, and it now arrives on Blu-ray disc!

Kimura stars as Kindaichi Fumio, a happy-go-lucky salaryman who suddenly loses everything his job, his home, his bank account overnight because of a secret being harbored by his boss (Fujiki Naohito). With only the clothes on his back and a few coins, Fumio finds a new start in a rundown home that gives shelter to people in similar situations. Creative, hardworking, and honest, Fumio stands up once again with the help of two former colleagues (Karina, Nakai Kiichi).
