Drypers is the leading diaper brand in Malaysia as it is made of high-quality materials. Also, its targeted buyers are what makes Drypers Malaysia one of the top infant hygiene brands in the region. Drypers offer age-specific products directed for new-borns to infants. The brand has also established a Drypers Baby Club where all mothers, new and experienced, can share their knowledge about baby hygiene and other important tips. Being a new parent can get rather overwhelming, so here’s a guide to changing diapers that you can follow.
Drypers Malaysia has also used technological innovations to create their products. The brand’s softest product yet, the Drypers Touch is marketed towards parents with newborn infants who might have sensitivity issues when using other brands of diapers. Nevertheless, it also offers other sizes for older and bigger babies.
The Drypers Touch has seven prominent features, thanks to the manufacturing process that mostly utilized technological innovations. First, the Drypers Touch has a high absorption rate and keeps the moisture at bay. Second, the newborn diapers feature navel care; it reduces the rubbing pressure of the diaper on the umbilical stump and lets the belly button heal properly. Third, it has a super soft embossed top layer that distributes urine evenly on the diaper for a longer lasting dryness to prevent irritations and diaper rashes. It is also made with Oat Kernal Extract that will help soothe and calm baby's skin. Next, the cotton-touch backseat and barriers provide anti-leakage, better air circulation, and prevent friction. The last two features are the stretchable waistband and soft-fastening system for a comfortable and secure wear.
Drypers Wee Wee Dry
Other Drypers’ best-seller includes the Drypers Wee Wee Dry. This line of diapers is marketed to a wider range of customers. It has their patented featured, the ThinDRY Core, which makes the product less bulky while being able to absorb more urine effectively. The Drypers Wee Wee Dry uses 100% breathable cloth-like cover for their material to suit wearers in the hotter regions as it provides great air circulation. The other patented feature, the Flexi-Tape, makes it easy for parents to put on and refasten the product multiple times. Lastly, like the Drypers Touch, the Wee Wee Dry implements leak guards and a stretchable waistband for a comfortable wear.
Besides the Drypers Touch and the Drypers Wee Wee Dry, the company also produces the Drypers Classic, Drypers Drypantz, Drypers ClassicPantz, and Drypers Baby Care that includes baby wipes, baby shampoo, talcum powder, and baby bath soap.
How to properly change your baby’s diaper
New parents don’t always have to be intimidated by this chore. Popular media often portray this task as messy and sometimes impossible. One of the very important things to do when changing your baby’s diaper is to do some preparations. Place your little one safely on the changing table and make sure that your hands are thoroughly cleaned. If you don’t have a changing table, you can lay your baby a blanket or a changing mat that is placed on a smooth surface. Gather your supplies; place the clean diaper, wet wipes, and anti-rash products within your reach.
After you have prepared, you can now proceed to changing the actual diaper. Unfasten the new, clean diaper and place it underneath your baby. The purpose of placing the new, clean diaper before taking off the dirty one is so that your changing table or mat can be kept clean. Next, unstrap the dirty diaper and fold the tape over so it doesn’t stick to your baby. Pull the front half of the dirty diaper down and fold it in half under your baby (clean side up). Don’t be afraid to lift your baby’s bottom off the table in order to do this step.
Afterwards, wipe your child’s private areas with the baby wipes. For baby girls, wipe from front to back to prevent any infections. To clean any excrement, make sure you grab another clean wet tissue and wipe their bottom. Clean other crevices as well and let the skin air dry.
Then, to prevent diaper rashes, apply rash cream, petroleum jelly, or talcum powder on a dry skin. Remove the dirty diaper, set it aside, and fasten the new, clean diaper. After the diaper is secured, remove your baby from the changing area to a safe space like her crib or on the bed. You can now dispose the dirty diaper, wash your hands, and let out a sigh of relief because you have successfully changed your baby’s diaper.
