Perfumes, in particular, are the smells that most of us commonly remember and with DeXandra Malaysia you might just find the scent that brings you back to good times. Read below to learn more about Dexandra perfume types.

What You Need to Know about Perfumes

Many factors are involved when you pick a Dexandra scent, such as the type of concentration of the perfume, the type of fragrances, and much more. For example, the concentration of the perfume can be split into a few categories which include parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne. Here are a few essentials you need to know before buying a Dexandra perfume.

The concentration of Dexandra perfumes can be typically found underneath the name of the perfume on a bottle which denotes the strength of its fragrance. For the perfumes with a higher fragrance concentration, it usually contains a higher percentage of perfume oils and a smaller percentage of alcohol.

Dexandra Parfum

This category of perfume is also known as Extrait de parfum or pure perfume. These Dexandra perfumes has the highest concentration of fragrance where it can contain anywhere from between 15 to 40 per cent of fragrance, but for most parfums the concentration is typically between 20 to 30 per cent. If you prefer a longer-lasting scent without having to re-apply after a few hours, parfum is your best bet. This is because Dexandra parfums last the longest among all the other types of perfumes. It usually can last between 6 to 8 hours and because of this, it can command the highest price among all the other fragrances.

Dexandra Eau de Parfum

Having the second-highest concentration of fragrance, Dexandra Eau de parfum (EDP) is a cheaper alternative for parfums where it contains anywhere between 15 and 20 per cent of fragrance concentration. Normally, eau de parfum can last roughly 4 to 5 hours and is suitable to be worn daily. While it has a higher concentration of alcohol compared to parfums, it still can be used on sensitive skin.

Dexandra Eau de Toilette

The term Eau de Toilette is derived from the French term “fairesa toilette”, which stands for getting ready. Dexandra Eau de Toilette is one of the most popular and commonly bought perfumes available. It has a concentration of roughly 5 to 15 per cent. The reason it is so popular is that the price is usually mid-range and available in most stores. Dexandra EDT can last from 2 to 3 hours and is considered a daytime type of perfume.

Dexandra Eau de Cologne

Compared to the other types of Dexandra fragrances as mentioned above, Dexandra Eau de Cologne or EDC has a much lower concentration of fragrance that only makes up 2 to 4 per cent combined with a high concentration of alcohol. Although it is cheaper than the other types of fragrances, it can only last a maximum of 2 hours. Generally, EDC is sold in bigger bottles as you need to spray more of it in order for the smell to be obvious. Back in the days, only a traditional recipe that used herbs and citrus notes with slight base notes were used to make eau de cologne.
