A decent PC-TV hybrid that is let down by basic input options and a slightly hefty price tag. The Samsung Syncmaster P2770HD, the larger brother of P2370, from Samsung is a mix of two different worlds: TV and PC monitor. Sporting 27-inch screen estate...

Integrated HDTV tuner; plethora of digital and analog inputs; remote control.Mediocre color uniformity; poor grayscale performance; feeble stand.
Strong on features, weak on performance We had high hopes for Samsung’s P2770HD. After all, its 23-inch little brother rose to the top of a sea of crappy TN displays in our December 2009 roundup. With its street price of $400, the P2770HD looked like a...

Just like the movies? As a TV, the P2770HD does pretty well compared with other hybrid monitors, but it can’t compete with the best TVs on the market. The screen’s lack of responsiveness affects picture quality in fast-action scenes and the soft upsca...

The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD has a ton of connection options, built-in speakers, and great overall performanceHas only one HDMI port, lacks an S-Video port, its menu system is inefficient compared with others, playing movies delivers a slight greenish tint
The 27-inch Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is a larger version of the that we reviewed last year. It's essentially an HDTV that can double as a monitor. It has nearly all the TV connections you'd expect and even comes with a fully functioning remote contr...

The P2770HD is a good LCD at a nice price. If you need to run your monitor with multiple sources or need one that can connect to almost anything, it makes it even more attractive. Paying $449 for this 27-inch LCD is a good deal.
