Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro Malaysia: A Budget Smartphone for Low Light Photography

Samsung is a household name when it comes to smartphones. From high-end to budget devices, the company keeps up with the latest industry trends, making sure it is cognizant of consumers’ needs. Samsung’s Galaxy J7 series, for instance, has budget smartphones that do not only sport impressive designs but also remarkable specifications, providing great value for your money. One of the best devices in this lineup is the Galaxy J7 Pro whose selling points include a rear camera that excels at low light and unique mobile payment system called Samsung Pay. Here is a rundown of its specifications and features.

Sleek Design and Display

The J7 Pro sports an aluminum chassis that looks better than the metallic frame and plastic back of its predecessor. At the top and bottom of the device, there are antenna bands that create a distinct pattern and provide a decent contrast to the overall color.

As for the display, the J7 Pro is equipped with a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD Super AMOLED panel, which looks great and offers excellent color reproduction. You won’t have problems using the device outdoors since the screen provides sufficient brightness. In addition, the J7 Pro comes with an Always On Display feature that gives users quick access to incoming notifications, calendar, and clock while the display is off. With that, you can set schedules and change the style of the clock.

Energy-Efficient Chipset and Great Battery Performance

Although the J7 Pro’s Exynos 7870 chipset isn’t the fastest processor on the market, it works well for regular tasks like browsing the web on Chrome. The processor comes with 8 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz, and with the device’s 3600 mAh battery, the J7 Pro is frugal enough in terms of battery consumption. You can further extend the battery life by using one of its power modes.

Impressive Low-Light Photography Performance

The J7 Pro’s is loaded with a single 13-MP sensor at the back that is designed for low-light conditions. Not to mention, it sports a quick autofocus and LED flash to improve low light photography performance. Meanwhile, J7 Pro’s front sensor comes with a 13-MP resolution with LED flash. It also has a beauty mode that allows you to make fine adjustments to your skin tone.

Samsung Pay

The J7 Pro is the first ever Samsung budget smartphone to come with the Samsung Pay. It is a digital wallet payment system that is similar to Android Pay and Apple Pay. This application works well over J7 Pro’s NFC and older MST standard. With its decent hardware, the J7 Pro can process payments wirelessly to POS machine without any issues.
