The Nokia Lumia 830 is one of the brand’s flagship device that flaunts the vividness and colorful personality of the Lumia series, coupled with highly innovative features from the inside to the outside. Its camera for one is actually way ahead of its time while other competing brands were still producing mediocre one. There’s a lot of things about the Lumia 830 that resonates and represents what Lumia series is supposed to be, and it was able to do it right.
The Nokia Lumia 830 is equipped with a Snapdragon 400 chipset which has a Quad-core A7 cortex processor embedded on it. Each core is clocked at 1.2 GHz and is complemented with an Adreno 305 graphics processor and 1 GB RAM. On the other hand, Cortana is also integrated into the Lumia 830’s Windows 10 OS. Its performance is comparable to that of Apple’s Siri, but it can do more like open and operate 3rd party apps.
This is the first ever smartphone that has invested so much in perfecting its camera. Its camera is equipped with a 10MP PureView sensor with Carl Zeiss Optics lens and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). With these features, the Nokia Lumia 830 is able to produce top notch quality photos and videos which sport great color contrast and lighting. The interface of its camera has a good amount of configuration available for the users to adjust according to their preference. It also has a pro-mode which allows users to manually adjust of the following: exposure, ISO, shutter speed, balance, and the likes. Its video recording function can record videos at 720p quality and at 30 fps frame rate. Its Optical Image Stabilization works wonders as it produces shaky videos.
This phone sports a 5” ClearBlack IPS display with a full HD resolution (72- x 1280p) and a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The IPS type, screen resolution, and pixel density contribute greatly to the Lumia 830’s sharp display and deep cut color palette. The colors are very punch due to its deep black, which is why its viewing angles are very good.
The capacity of Nokia Lumia 830 battery is 2200 mAh which is enough to power up the phone for the entire day with light to moderate use. According to its official information released by Nokia, it’s enough battery to support 3G calls for half a day and standby time of 22 days.
