Nokia Lumia 520 Malaysia

The Nokia Lumia 520 is one of Nokia’s second generation Windows-powered phones since the debut of the Lumia series. This phone sports Nokia’s new found OS which is the Windows 8, and it makes do with a standard LCD that shied away from their traditional screen that features deep colors. Instead, its screen now boasts close to real life colors and are no longer oversaturated. So, it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Another highlight of the phone is its 5MP camera that produces sharp photos and records videos at 720p with 30fps frame rate.

Minimalist Design

From the size of the screen to the phone’s design and build, you can easily say that this phone is about showing less on the outside. The Nokia Lumia 520 Malaysia flaunts a 4-inch screen and touch panel right underneath it. On the back, the 5MP camera takes the center stage minus the LED flash. Despite its minimalistic design, it doesn’t follow that the same goes on its inside.

Vivid yet Natural Looking Display

The 4-inch screen of the Nokia Lumia 520 is packed with a standard 480x800 pixels display resolution, with a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch. The overall screen resolution is very standard, however, it’s good enough to keep those pixels out of sight and enjoy a crisp looking display on a 4-inch screen. The screen of the Nokia Lumia also doesn’t reflect light that much, and could give its users a good wide viewing angle.

Standard Camera

The Nokia Lumia 520’s camera is as simple as you could get, however, it can get the job done especially in good lighting condition. It comes with a 5MP sensor that is also armed with autofocus, and could shoot videos with a 720p resolution. For a phone that’s comes with a very affordable price tag and an interface as elegant as the Windows 8, the camera wouldn’t really be an issue for your everyday photography needs.

Nokia Music

The Nokia Music is a music streaming from Nokia Malaysia that can be downloaded through their Store and can be enjoyed freely without the need for a paid subscription. Aside from their streaming service, you can also play your own songs with this app. On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 520 Malaysia preinstalled music player comes with a very simple yet intuitive interface which could play both music and videos.

Cheap, Nokia's camera, Drive and music apps are ace, Decent battery life
Feels cheap, So-so screen, Sporadically slow
What colour to get? Probably the most pressing concern on Lumia 520 buyers' minds. Available in yellow, red, black and white, it's a tough call, but we're rather smitten with our cyan model and you can swap the back covers if you change your mind anyway. ...
