The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 runs on a complete Windows operating system (ships with Windows 8, but upgradeable to Windows 10), it is exactly like your laptop or desktop computer, except in a much more compact form factor.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is incredibly light at just under a kilogram (800 grams), and yet it packs in all of the required hardware components that are needed for the amazing power and performance. It's performance is equal to that of a high end premium laptop, delivering immense performance in an ultraportable design. It's also very slim, enabling you to slip it in your bag and transporting it easily, being able to turn on and start almost instantly.

Touch and Write Naturally

The Surface Pro 3 features a beautiful 12-inch display that's incredibly vibrant and sharp. Your documents and spreadsheets all look clear and lifelike on the display, and its thin form factor makes it feel like you are holding a book instead of a tablet.

The Surface Pro 3 also has an additional and optional Surface Pen stylus for you to write and draw on the Surface Pro 3 as you would on paper.
