Intel Compute Stick Malaysia

Full Computing Power the size of a pack of gum

Sometimes you just need to be extremely versatile when it comes to computing, and sometimes you just don’t want to lug around a laptop when you have a display, keyboard, and mouse all ready at the office or wherever you’re heading. So what do you do? You use the Intel Compute Stick.

The Intel Compute Stick is pretty much a mini PC, but it is going to the mini-est mini PC you will ever see – and you can bring it everywhere. The Intel Compute Stick is really small, no larger than most packs of chewing gum, and weighs little. You can bring it everywhere, and plug it into any TV or display that has a free HDMI port. Doing so will transform that display into a full-fledged Windows PC with all of the features you love.

Versatile Computing

Those hotel TVs and their limited selection of channels tend to be pretty boring, airing all of the older movies that you’ve probably seen fifty times over. And if you’re on a business trip, you’re lugging around a laptop that is possibly just another burden in your bag to carry. Imagine however, that you have the Intel Compute Stick – the entirety of a computer in the palm of your hand. You just bring that to the hotel and you can easily plug it into the hotel’s HDMI port and get yourself a larger computing display with all of your files and settings on hand. It is also very useful when you need to make a presentation at a meeting, you just connect your Compute Stick to a projector instead.

The Intel Compute Stick may not be a very powerful computer, it may even struggle a little bit in some tasks, but it is still a very convenient mini PC. It is not a device that is meant to be your primary computer, but it is an excellent secondary and backup device for most cases.

We dug the original Intel Compute Stick that launched last year. If you recall, the original Compute Stick was a tiny, Atom-powered device that could turn any HDMI-equipped display into a basic PC. The low-power nature of the Compute Stick meant it was id...

The Intel Compute Stick was introduced in April 2015 and received a luke warm welcome as the tiny HDMI computer stick certainly had a number of faults. Most people need to keep in mind that the Intel Compete Stick was a first generation product and Intel...
