News about Huawei P9 Lite

Chinese smartphone giants, Huawei first entered the high-end smartphone scene in 2012 and they are unlikely to leave anytime soon with their recent achievement. Huawei has just announced that they have shipped more than 10 million copies of their flagship Huawei P9 and P9 Plus’ worldwide – making them the first models in Huawei’s inventory to achieve this remarkable feat. Despite a slow international market in terms of smartphone sales in 2016, this impressive result has proven that Huawei’s decision to invest in international markets is paying off handsomely. The announcement was made by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) in a press release released at the end of December 2016.

The smartphone industry is ever evolving, with manufacturers constantly introducing new features to impress consumers and gain an upper hand on competitors. One of these features that has successfully gained the attention of consumers is the inclusion of watermarks on pictures taken by the smartphone’s camera.

Huawei first released the Huawei P8 with its lower cost sibling, the Huawei P8 Lite in 2015. Huawei P9 Lite Malaysia Price, Specs, Features

Huawei P9 Lite – The phone all Malaysians want

Malaysia smartphone users love the Huawei P9 but unfortunately, it might not be for everyone due to its price. But now, its brother, the Huawei P9 Lite is out and it’s everything we want and more! As the name suggests, the Huawei P9 Lite is lighter than the Huawei P9, but that’s not all about this awesome device. You will realise that the phone’s build is a combination of aluminium and plastic, making it a fraction of the weight of the P9. Here are some features to look out for on the Huawei P9 Lite.

The design we love

At first glance, you won’t see any significant difference between the Huawei P9 Lite and its older brother. But flip it over and you will notice subtle differences between the two phones. Much like most Huawei phones, the volume rockers and power buttons are on the right and are easily reachable with one hand. Up at the top are the headphone jack, front camera, and speaker. Although its size seems pretty big, the Huawei P9 Lite is still manageable with one hand which is a big plus for users with smaller hands.

Immersive Display

The Huawei P9 Lite has a nice and big display that makes the device ideal for consuming all forms of media, from games to movies. The P9 Lite houses a 5.2-inch Full-HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours.

Strong Internals

Under its hood, the phone is fitted with Huawei's very own HiSilicon Kirin 650 chipset that provides the device with a smooth performance to handle all the tasks you assign to it. Supported by 3GB of RAM, the phone is a reliable device for gaming as well as for working on-the-road. Be it switching between apps or multitasking, the P9 Lite takes everything into stride without any lags or slowdown in performance.

A camera unlike any other

Now comes the juicy part – the phone's cameras. Unlike most phones that come with regular cameras, the Huawei P9 Lite comes with a 13MP f/2.0 autofocus camera with a 1/3” sensor size and 1.12 µm pixel size. This amazing camera captures images vivid and sharp despite slightly slow shutter speeds. The camera also comes with geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and HDR modes to customize your photography. The front camera is an 8MP shooter that takes decent selfies that can be uploaded to your social media accounts with minimal editing required.

The phone we want and the phone we need

The Huawei P9 Lite is the phone we need. Coming in colours of black, white and gold, the device is classy. Fingerprint scanner boosts security while all our necessary tools such as Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Hotspot all come in handy. Battery power is strong giving you up to a day of constant activity on the 3000 mAh battery.

Overall, the Huawei P9 Lite presents specs that are top grade and propels you into the future.
