Huawei P10 Plus Mobile Phone in Malaysia

Huawei P10 Plus Malaysia Review: An Upsized Powerhouse with a Sleek Design

The Huawei P10 smartphone was a bestselling mobile phone in Malaysia as it featured top-of-the-line specs that made it one of the best smartphones available today. Seeing how popular the phone was, Huawei decided to introduce the P10 Plus, a larger version of the P10. The Huawei P10 Plus sports an attractive design, high-end hardware, and a top-of-the-line camera. Here’s a rundown of Huawei P10 Plus' impressive specs and features.

Remarkable Design and Build

Despite a larger screen size, the P10 Plus is barely any bigger than the regular Huawei P10. It’s still 7mm thick, only a few millimetres wider and taller and just 20g heavier. Overall, this is quite impressive for a 5.5in phone with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It’s a very similar size and weight to the P9 Plus.

The P10 Plus has a gorgeous, desirable design, wielding a smooth and round shape on the edges. With its aluminium body, it feels nice in the hand that will remind you of high-end handsets like the iPhone 7.

Solid Specs and Hardware

Designed as a flagship smartphone, there should be no complaints when it comes to the Huawei P10 Plus specifications. The P10 Plus houses a Kirin 960 chipset that is also found in the Huawei Mate 9. This processor is something of a beast, sporting 8 cores backed up by a Mali-G71 GPU. For this reason, this phone is lightning fast and certainly an improvement on the already impressive P9 Plus.

Another feature that makes the P10 Plus so fast is the whopping 6GB RAM inside which is coupled with 128GB of storage. Not even high-end phones like the S8 have 6GB of RAM so this handset is quite impressive. There's also a micro-SD card slot for adding even more – up to 256GB.

Top-of-the-line Camera

At first glance, the P10 Plus has the same dual-camera setup as the regular P10 but that's not quite the case. It comes with 20 and 12MP monochrome and colour sensors with features like optical image stabilisation and a dual-tone flash. With that, you’ll get high-quality bokeh effects and awesome black-and-white images.

Meanwhile, the P10 Plus front snapper has 8 megapixels with a f/1.9 aperture. It is also equipped with Leica optics that allows you to take decent selfies. At the same time, it has the amazing ability to automatically detect if you're taking a picture of one person or a group and will adjust to wide-angle if needed.

Decent Battery Life

As expected in a Plus model, the P10 Plus has a larger battery than the normal model. At 3750mAh, it can get through a day of heavy usage which is something a lot of phones can't manage.
