HTC Malaysia introduces the U Play smartphone into their mobile inventory. The latest offering from HTC is a value-for-money phone that consists of many plus points. Design-wise, HTC has taken its cues from U Play’s higher-priced brother, the U Ultra. Hence, the device looks better than most of the smartphones that are marketed in the same price bracket. The U Play sports the same metallic liquid surface form factor that can be found on the U Ultra and the body fits perfectly with the U Play’s 5.2-inch display.

Decent mid-range performance, HTC's less bloated software experience, Quick Charge support, Battery life, Acceptable camera performance
No outstanding features to attract
Despite financial troubles and how less competitive HTC's devices are compared to the rest, the company still has a soft spot in my heart as one of the best smartphone brands that I'd easily recommend to anyone. While I didn't get the chance to review th...

Good display, Decent battery life, Dual camera, 4GB/64GB + microSD, Headphone jack returns
No IP rating, Sub-par performance, Unreliable camera, No Edge Sense, No Android One version, Far more competitive alternatives
The HTC U12 Life feels like it was created from scratch. In a vacuum. It's a peculiar device that's a little difficult to pin down. It doesn't share all that much in common with its predecessor the U11 Life, and not so much with its namesake the U12 Plus...
