harman/kardon Onyx Price in Malaysia

The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio is a unique portable speaker. It is not quite meant to be carried all over the place, but rather only around the house of office. This is because of its large size, and a slightly shorter battery life in comparison to other speakers. The sound it produces however, is stunning; read more below!

Harman Kardon Onyx Studio Malaysia

Unique Minimalist Aesthetics

As it is the tradition of Harman Kardon, the Onyx Studio portable speaker features a very unique and minimalistic design. The speaker is essentially a black disc that is a massive 11 inches in diameter (which is pretty large for a “portable speaker”). To support its convex disc shape upright is a pair of metal legs that let the speaker sit at an angle. Aside from the silver legs and Harman Kardon branding on the centre and rear of the speaker, there isn’t anything else that detracts from the large disc shape of the Onyx Studio.

Because the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio supposed to be a portable speaker, it has a grip on the upper half of the disc shape on the back to facilitate easy transportation – although the speaker will most likely only be carried around to different rooms in a house due to the nature of its large size.

Superior Audio Performance

As a good representation of its size, the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio dishes out very impressive sound. On the inside of the disc sits a pair of 3-inch woofers, a pair of tweeters, and two passive bass radiators; the driver setup gives the Onyx Studio an impressive sound frequency of 60Hz to 20kHz.

The Onyx Studio has its sound signature very much focused on the lower frequencies, sending out low and warm bass that appeals to most people - those seeking for the best tonal balance in a speaker should look elsewhere other than the Onyx Studio. However, for those who like that thump in their music will feel right at home with the Onyx Studio.

The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio is quite the portable speaker (that isn’t very portable), but it’s built-in 5-hour battery will last you a bit whenever you carry it to other parts of the house to enjoy some of your favourite tunes. Its minimalist aesthetics also fit in anywhere in a home, making it not only sound great, but look great as well.
