The Mobile World Congress (a.k.a MWC) 2018, one of the biggest events in the mobile industry has just recently ended last Friday in Barcelona. As we look back at the festivities, MWC this year felt a little underwhelming, probably because Samsung stole the show before the event even officially began with the launch of the Galaxy S9. Nevertheless, the show still had its fair share of highlights that is worth talking about. Hence, below are some of the most notable handsets that were seen last week.

Having a smaller smartphone does not mean that it is a bad smartphone – size isn't everything. The Asus ZenFone Go is a rather small and compact phone that has an exceptionally stunning 4.5-inch display. It also comes in five different colours: Black, white, gold, red, and blue. The affordable price point is one of its main attractive points, enabling a lot of people to afford a smartphone without breaking the bank. Although Asus is more renowned for its laptop line, this phone proves that the brand is capable of producing reliable smartphones.
The ZenFone Go performs amazingly well at such a humble price point; It's powerful quad-core Media-Tek processor scoffs at most daily tasks, and can indulge you in very immersive gaming experience in the palm of your hand. This Asus smartphone also breezes through multiple tasks and apps without breaking a sweat, thanks to its generous 2GB RAM. Running several applications at the same time is not going to slow the phone down easily.
Media-heavy users will be glad that they have enough space to store all their data and applications with 16GB of internal storage. If you want to store even more data such as music, movies, and photographs, the internal storage is expandable via a MicroSD card slot that takes up to an extra 64GB.
The future is also here with the ZenFone Go; the inclusion of a lifetime of free 5GB cloud storage via the Asus WebStorage service. Important information such as contact information and photographs can be uploaded to the Asus WebStorage service for more secured storage and convenience.
The ZenFone Go smartphone features a dual sim card slot and dual sim standby. You can use two active mobile numbers at the same time, allowing you to separate your professional number and personal number. Having a dual sim phone gives the convenience of having to carry only a single smartphone, instead of having to burden your pockets or bags with two.
Dual standby also allows you to have two of the mobile numbers active at the same time – some people might even prefer using one number for calls and text messages, and the other for mobile data. It's entirely up to you.
Asus's ZenUI skin on top of Android makes using the smartphone a simpler, smarter, and more personalized ZenUI experience. Users can personalize the smartphone as they wish, adopting different colored themes and also different icons, making it truly theirs.
