Zenfone 3 Zoom Malaysia Price, Specs, Review

Zenfone 3 Zoom - Quality Camera Meets Capacious Battery Life

The Asus Zenfone 3 puts emphasis on the camera and battery life – two of the most important smartphone features that matter to people. Aside from these, the flagship boasts other specifications that make it on par with its contemporaries.

Impressive Design and display

The Zenfone 3 Zoom comes with an aluminium exterior, which makes it strikingly similar to Apple’s flagship device, the iPhone 7 Plus. It’s a bit thicker at 7.99mm compared to iPhone’s 7.3mm. The thickness provides more room for a bigger battery and an enclosure for a near-flat camera lens. Although it’s thicker than the iPhone 7 Plus, it’s lighter at 170g. In addition, its display comes with a 1080-pixel resolution and an AMOLED display with full HD capability. With that, the users will get crisp and clear images and videos.

Cutting-edge Camera

The Zenfone 3 Zoom sports dual cameras on the back with 12 MP resolution, similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Incorporated into the dual cameras is a 2.3x optical zoom that allows you to get a closer look at distant objects. Meanwhile, its front snapper comes with a 13 MP resolution and uses an IMX214 sensor found in many Sony compact cameras. Front-facing camera modes include a beautification mode and a panorama mode so you can take wide selfies.

Large Battery life

If you are looking for a phone with a capacious battery life, then the Zenfone 3 Zoom is your best bet. It houses a whopping 5000mAH battery capacity, which can last up to two days. With that, it provides you more than 40 hours of talk time as well as standby time. Plus, it promises 25 hours of web browsing and almost 7 hours of video recording at 4K. Also, due to its large battery life, the Zenfone 3 Zoom may also function as a power bank that enables you to charge your other gadgets through its USB-C port. This feature is essential whenever one of your gadgets runs out of juice and you need it to continue running.

Decent Specifications

The Zenfone 3 Zoom is integrated with a Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU, capable enough to run demanding apps. It has a 4 GB of RAM and an Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, which provides a better user interface. In addition, it has three internal storage variants: the 32 GB, the 64 GB, and the 128 GB model. What’s more, all three variants are loaded with a microSD card slot for additional memory. With that, you can download and save more videos, files, etc on the device without worrying about its storage capacity.
